Intheguard.tv learned today that the lightweight bout between Rich 'No Love' Clementi (40-13-1) and Gleison Tibau (27-5) was offered to both camps and is being negociated for February. We were unable to confirm whether the fight will be featured in the UFC Fight Night 17 or UFC 95 taking place in London.

If the fight is confirmed, it will be Rich Clementi's 10th match in the UFC, he came across like the winner in five of the bouts, but his last time in the Octagon was not a triumph as he lost to Gray "The Bully" Maynard in UFC 90 this October.
Tibau, an American Top Team project, started in the UFC with a defeat to Nick Diaz, but turned the unsuccessful debut into a road to glory after three consecutive victories. However, this Natal - Brazil's native is coming off two defeats and for many this is a 'do or die time' for him, after losing in UFC 86 to Joe Stevenson by submission last July.

Tibau and Clementi have two similarites before their likely meeting, both are coming from defeats and both transitioned between the UFC 170 lbs division and then, later, moved to lightweight.
