Yesterday the wikipedia was informing [but soon fans noticed, it was removed] one more rumored match into the possible line-up of UFC 93 scheduled for January 17 in Dublin, Ireland. The fight in question would put super veteran, Jeremy Horn in front of BTT's rising star Rousimar Palhares. However, like everybody knows, wikipedia isn't necessesairly a trustworthy source. But even though the meeting sounded like a rumor, something real could exist behind this.

A few callings were done and even through no official words came from Zuffa, we reached from sources close to the Brazilian that the fight is signed, confirmed and will be part of  the first UFC of 2009.

Horn possess more than 100 fights on his record and is coming of two consecutives defeats via guillotine chokes in his last UFC appearances. By his side, Palhares who was last seen being overmatched and consequently dropped a decision by the hands of Dan Henderson at UFC 88.

This middleweight bout has an extreme importance in Horn's career - due to the politics of UFC lately - a new defeat could cost the contract of the Cedar Rapis native. Palhares, who was repeatly named such as the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu phenom, collided against the strategy of Henderson and due to this fact opened gaps for people to doubt his real potencial like a UFC fighter. Against Horn, the BTT representative has a chance of redemption, but can't forget that the experience of Horn is a huge factor into this duel.

The UFC 93 will feature in the main event, the Rich Franklin vs. Dan Henderson battle and the rematch involving Mark "The Hammer" Coleman and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.
