The card of UFC 103 is taking shape and one Lightweight fight  promises to add excitment to the event that will take place on the September 19th in the American Airlines Arena in Dallas. Sources close to the event informed that Rafael dos Anjos and Matt Wiman have signed to fight at 155. The duel, that has everything needed to be electrifying, brings dos Anjos and Wiman fighting to stay in the event, as they both have been defeated in their last two appearances.

After debuting in the organization with a defeat in UFC 60, Wiman came back with everything and won four fights in a row, including a “Fight of the Night” against Thiago Tavares in UFC 85. The American won by knockout in the second round. Wiman comes from two consecutive defeats by decision; one to Jim Miller and the other to Sam Stout.

Rafael dos Anjos has only fought two times in the UFC and hasn't yet to earn a win. Even with a good pace in his inaugural fight for the organization, against Jeremy Stephens in UFC 91, dos Anjos left with a defeat by knockout. In his return to the Octagon, in UFC Fight Night 18, he ended up meeting a Jiu-Jitsu “anti-game” in Tyson Griffin and had his second defeat in a row, this time by decision.
Dos Anjos x Wiman is added to a few other reported fights that are not yet officially confirmed by the UFC. See below:
