During the 17th edition of the ITGFIGHTTALK (Portuguese version) the host, Olivar Leite, informed first hand the sad news that UFC Middleweight, Rousimar "Toquinho" Palhares, had suffered an injury during training last night at Brazilian Top Team. The pupil of former UFC middleweight champion, Murilo Bustamante, fractured tibia while training Wrestling and last night underwent a surgery in Hospital Miguel Couto, Rio de Janeiro around 8pm. 

Preliminary information indicates that Palhares will be out for at least 60 days, from any fighting activities. This will make it impossible for him to face Alessio Sakara of American Top Team (in a bout signed, but not officially confirmed), for UFC 101, not UFC 99 as other sites had incorrectly stated.
